What “handmade” really means
Here, every piece you’ll find is made from handwoven fabric. When we say handmade, we are not talking about the fibre itself, but about the human hands behind the making.
And, you'll feel it straight away, in the texture, in the way it falls, and in the little variations that make it feel real, and truly yours. Different weaves create different kinds of fabric, each with its own feel and character. Some are light and airy, others more textured and softly structured.
The fabric is created on a loom by skilled artisans, thread by thread, rather than being produced at industrial speed by machines. The process naturally takes time. From spinning and weaving to embroidery and finishing details, each step carries the pace of human work rather than factory timelines, leaving behind a texture and softness that machine-made clothing rarely holds.
This is what gives each piece its individuality. A slight variation in weave, a gentle shift in tone, the irregular rhythm of a hand-finished stitch: these are the natural marks of craftsmanship. They speak to the presence of the maker and to the human process behind the garment.
This is also why many of our pieces are made in small batches. Only a limited number of pieces are made at a time, allowing the craftsmanship and details to remain considered and personal.
With handmade work, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. It‘s these small differences that remind you a real person made it.We believe that this is a part of their beauty.
