Materials that come with stories
We choose natural fibres like cotton, linen and silk for how they feel on the skin and fall on the body, softening beautifully with time and wear. From breathable handwoven cottons and heritage varieties to fluid silks and airy linens, each material brings its own texture, weight, movement, and story.

Kala Cotton (rainfed)
Kala cotton is valued for its rich texture, softness and resilience. It has a slightly earthy hand- feel and a beautiful natural depth in the weave. We love the way it already feels lived- in, while still holding its shape beautifully, bringing a sense of structure without ever feeling heavy.
Rainfed and grown with minimal intervention, this adds to its rooted, natural character and makes it especially beautiful to wear over time. It's a heritage material from India with a long history.

Khadi Cotton (handspun)
Khadi is both handspun and handwoven cotton known for its softly textured feel and natural breathability. It has a gentle irregularity to the weave that gives it depth and character, making each piece feel beautifully individual. Also originating in India, this weave carries a long history of hand craftsmanship. Its naturally airy weave helps keep you cool in warmer temperatures, while the tiny pockets within the weave offer gentle warmth when the weather turns cooler, making it easy to wear across seasons.

Handwoven Linen
Handwoven linen has a softness, ease and coolness that feels organic and natural. The weave gives it a gentle texture while still keeping the light and breathable crispness that linen is loved for.

Handwoven Silk
Handwoven silk has a gentle luminosity, catching the light in softer, more layered ways while still feeling light on the skin. When it is handwoven, it feels more alive, with a natural sheen that changes slightly as the fabric moves.
Even the smaller details matter to us, from threads and trims to buttons and beads. Wherever possible, these are materials that come from nature and feel like a natural extension of the garment itself. The embroidery is done with cotton threads, while all the beads and buttons are made from teakwood, mother-of-pearl and coconut shell.
